HospitalWaits displays published NHS waiting time statistics to help patients and healthcare professionals understand and compare hospital waiting times across England. It is designed to support the NHS patient choice framework by making publicly available data more accessible. See /methodology for full details on how the figures are calculated.

• Waiting-time data for England is sourced from NHS England and published under the Open Government Licence v3.0.
• The compilation, rankings and derived figures on this site are © Doctor Data Ltd and are not covered by the Open Government Licence: quote and cite them with attribution, and get in touch before bulk or commercial reuse.
• Data is published monthly with a 6–8 week delay. The data shown may not reflect current waiting times.
• We present the data as published. While we take care to process it accurately, we cannot guarantee it is error-free.
• Individual waiting times may vary significantly from the averages shown. Your actual wait depends on clinical priority, capacity changes, and other factors.

This site provides information only. It does not provide:

• Medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations
• Clinical decision support
• Personal health recommendations

Always discuss referral options and treatment decisions with your GP or healthcare professional.

This is an independent website. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to NHS England, NHS Digital, the Department of Health and Social Care, or any NHS organisation. The NHS logo and branding are not used on this site.
